Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

Who We Are and What This Service Is

mneva.health is a procedural medical education platform that provides spaced-repetition flashcards, multiple-choice question banks, 3D anatomy models, and AI-assisted explanations. The platform is designed to support medical students, residents, and licensed clinicians in continuing education. By creating an account or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Acceptable Use

You may use mneva.health for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You agree not to: (a) share your account credentials with others; (b) attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically download content in bulk; (c) upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights; (d) use the platform to harass, deceive, or harm others; (e) attempt to circumvent access controls or probe the platform for vulnerabilities; or (f) use automated tools to submit answers or generate activity on your behalf.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to update that information if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are in violation of these terms.

AI-Generated Content — Not Medical Advice

mneva.health uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate question explanations, tag suggestions, and study-plan recommendations. AI outputs are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always rely on qualified healthcare professionals for clinical decisions. AI outputs may contain errors or omissions; they are reviewed at a best-effort level by our editorial team but are not individually verified by licensed clinicians.

Content Licensing and Attribution

Clinical case reports ingested from PubMed Central are reproduced under their original Creative Commons licenses (typically CC BY 4.0). Attribution is displayed on the /credits page and within each case. 3D anatomy models are sourced from Wikimedia Commons, BodyParts3D, and other openly licensed repositories — full per-model attribution is available on the /credits page. User-submitted annotations and notes are retained by you; by submitting them you grant mneva.health a non-exclusive license to display them within the platform.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Content you have contributed will be reviewed and may be retained in anonymised form if it serves the educational mission of the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which mneva.health operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. [Jurisdiction to be specified before commercial launch.] Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before any formal legal proceeding.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or by an in-app notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
